The Americas SuperRegional is a premier event that gathers young robotics enthusiasts from across North, Central, and South America. At this competition, participants have the chance to demonstrate their skills, creativity, and achievements in robotics on an international stage.
The event celebrates technical excellence, problem-solving, and innovation, while fostering collaboration and camaraderie among young talents. The SuperRegional is also a unique opportunity for cultural exchange and networking, bringing together students from diverse backgrounds to share experiences and learn from each other. Beyond advancing technical education and teamwork, the event promotes a deeper understanding and appreciation of the rich cultural perspectives across the Americas.
This will be a platform for students to compete beyond local or national events. The SuperRegional competitions were created to provide international experience to more teams, including primary teams. However, since there has not been a SuperRegional competition in the Americas, this opportunity has been lacking for younger students. We are excited to offer this opportunity to RoboCupJunior students.
Friday, April 25 - Tuesday, April 29
The event will take place at Mercersburg Academy’s Hale Field House. The space comprises the 200-meter Reeder Track, four tennis courts, four basketball courts, two sand pits, dropdown batting cages, and a lacrosse wall. The building allows Mercersburg athletic teams to benefit from year-round indoor space that can accommodate practices, training, and competitions. It also serves as a space for external events such as RoboCupJunior Americas SuperRegional.
We are happy to announce that we have availability outside of the Americas region for teams to participate in the Inaugural Americas SuperRegional.

The Americas SuperRegional will follow the 2025 rules published on the RoboCupJunior website: https://junior.robocup.org/
In addition, the Primary Rescue Line league will follow slightly modified rules which can be found HERE.
The Onstage Primary league will follow the 2025 Onstage Entry rules which can be found here: https://robocup-junior.github.io/onstage/resources/rules_scoresheets/entry.html
The Soccer Lightweight Primary league will follow the 2025 Soccer 1:1 Lightweight League Rules that can be found here: https://junior.robocup.org/soccer/. One major difference is that the fields will be standard fields and no out-of-bounds penalties will be enforced.
In addition, evaluation of technical papers, journals and interviews will not be a part of the scoring rubrics for determination of final places of the competition in soccer or rescue events. However, the judges may conduct technical interviews or consult the submitted code, technical papers, or posters on display for clarification on any part of the robot or its development.
